Project Title: Evaluation of Program "Media Cooperation and Peace Journalism in the South Caucasus"

During the period April-December 2012 EMC evaluated the "Media cooperation and peace journalism in the South Caucasus" project" implemented by International Center for Conflict and Negotiation (ICCN) in cooperation with the European Centre for Minority Issues – Caucasus (ESMI). ICCN project aimed to contribute towards a peace-enabling environment in the societies of the South Caucasus by strengthening the skills and capacities of regional media representatives.

The project was financed by COBERM – Confidence Building and Early Response Mechanism and by the European Union. It was administered by the United Nations Development Program and the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation Projects of the German Marshall Fund.

During the ICCN above mentioned project evaluation EMC assessed the level of achievement of project results and outcomes, as well as project's impact on the project target groups.

EMC started the evaluation in the mid of March and finished it by the end of December, 2012.

EMC Workshop in Frankfurt and Main, Germany

Project Cycle, Monitoring and Evaluation

On March 22, 2018 EMC is organizing one-day workshop in Frankfurt, Germany on the topic Project Cycle, Monitoring and Evaluation. EMC’s President Nino Saakashvili will conduct the workshop.Workshop will provide an overview of results-based management including result based project management, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) with an emphasis of tools and methods for successfully managing the projects and achieving its objectives. The workshop will cover fundamental concepts of project management, methods of project Monitoring & Evaluation, results measurement indicators and frameworks. Also, evaluation processes including evaluation planning, collecting and analyzing data, developing evaluation report and communicating results.
