Project Title: Evaluation of the Project “Georgia Legal Socialization Program” (GLSP)

In February 2013 EMC signed the contract with the PH International (officially registered as Project Harmony) to carry out a final evaluation of the project “Georgia Legal Socialization Program” (GLSP). Project was funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs. Long-term goals of the project were reducing juvenile crime in Georgia. The evaluation was completed in May 2013. Program was implemented in in Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi, Gori and Zugdidi.

The purpose of the external evaluation were to assess the continuing appropriateness and relevance of the GLSP program design, to identify the major achievements of the project to date in relation to its stated objectives and intended results.

The evaluation looked for the efficiency, efficiency of planning and implementation and potential for sustainability. Based on the evaluation exercise, the evaluation also made the recommendations important for designing the continuation of the project “Georgia Legal Socialization Program” in the future.


EMC Workshop in Frankfurt and Main, Germany

Project Cycle, Monitoring and Evaluation

On March 22, 2018 EMC is organizing one-day workshop in Frankfurt, Germany on the topic Project Cycle, Monitoring and Evaluation. EMC’s President Nino Saakashvili will conduct the workshop.Workshop will provide an overview of results-based management including result based project management, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) with an emphasis of tools and methods for successfully managing the projects and achieving its objectives. The workshop will cover fundamental concepts of project management, methods of project Monitoring & Evaluation, results measurement indicators and frameworks. Also, evaluation processes including evaluation planning, collecting and analyzing data, developing evaluation report and communicating results.
